candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. The Network System Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day support and administration of our technology and network environment. The position would also be responsible for resolving connectivity issues, improve network reliability, and ensure secured access. This individual will participate in design, evaluation and implementation of IT and OT network infrastructure across all company locations. The position will also be responsible for administration, user provisioning and access management in Google workspace and other cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day operational support for SD-WAN, DMVPN, VPN and any other local network or network device needs Manage network design and implementation of Operations and Information technology networks for Industrial Internet Of Things 4.0 Perform network capacity and performance monitoring for optimized QoS traffic, system tuning, signal strength and data loss issues Monitoring and troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks for connectivity problems and security proofing Ability to manage multiple platforms and environments related to Routing, Switching, IP Telephony, Wireless, Firewalls, Client VPN, Security and Monitoring tools Setup, Deployment and management of virtual environments using VMWare Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery and failover procedures Responsible for administration, user provisioning and access management in Google workspace and other cloud technologies utilizing Identity and Access Management platforms Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions and resources, including major services related to applications, storage, networking, subscriptions, security, and high availability disaster recovery Manage Azure AD infrastructure and collaborate with various teams to ensure it integrates seamlessly with all components including network, security, messaging, and remote access Manages security controls and defenses related to intrusion detection, log monitoring, vulnerability assessment and alerting Evaluate, specify, and direct IT hardware and software solution implementation Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our other manufacturing plants and colocation facilities as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent Cisco or Network related Certifications preferred 7
years of hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki hardware and configurations 5
years of Systems Administration experience preferably in G Suite Hands on experience with Cisco Meraki Firewalls, related to policies, filtering, or the equivalent Firewall knowledge In depth knowledge of Networks, Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, IP Routing (OSPF, BGP) QoS Experience in configuring, deploying, and managing standard network equipment (cabling, routers, switches, wireless APs) Experience with SSO/MFA integration between G Suite, Office 365, Slack and other major cloud service providers Experience with EndPoint Security, MFA, Email Encryption, MDM, etc. Knowledge of OIDC, SAML, OAauth, LDAP, Active Directory, and relevant IT architectures Technical knowledge of Azure platform services of equivalent cloud hosting platforms. Technical understanding and hands on experience with load balancers, preferably F5 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with attention to detail Proficient understanding of evolving Information Security regulations and best practices Ability to multitask and be flexible to accommodate changing business needs and priorities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
